I am so grateful to all of you for joining me on the 24K Imaging Journey from "crazy thought in my head" to Small Business status. After listening to feedback and some trial/error bruises, we have grown and are on the road to shaping a business that encompasses my ideas, values and vision for 24K while we connect with the needs of the community that we serve. Some tweaks have been made to our pricing structure eliminate the "Milestone Moment II" Package and only offering 1 type of "Milestone Moment" package. Remember a "Milestone Moment" is the capturing of a moment in time that is special to you.

When starting a business there are ALL these logistical things that you have to do and all these pretty things that you have to decide. (BIG sigh) Because 24K Imaging was created during what I'm going to call a moment of insanity and pure passion, many of the branding ideas weren't fully flushed out.
Who am I kidding? I hadn't even thought about it. All I knew was that I wanted to have this experience and I wanted to share it with the world because everyone needed to feel it too. Oh, and it was going to look fabulous! How I was going to make it look extraordinary - I had no clue. I had this vision in my head and now I had to find items that matched the vision but didn't break my pockets. So here I am, about 3 weeks after making some major branding choices that include redoing a logo and solidify delivery packaging. I am also 3 days before my formal website launch - full of nerves because I can only hope that when others see what 24K Imaging puts forth, it gives them the same tingles that I have. 24K is my baby. It is has been a dream of mine before I even knew that I was dreaming it. (That sentence makes sense in my head and you know you understand what I mean) I am now birthing it. Now don't be mean to my baby!!!! ![]() I had my first daughter 16 years ago. I was a scared 22 year old who had spent 4 1/2 months on bed rest. Yes, i said 4 1/2 months!!! After spending 17 hours in labor and then an extra week in the hospital due to an infection of some kind, all I remember from the experience was my then husband ate a lot of hospital soup. I was upset because I couldn't go to a BBQ that my doctor said I was able to (remember 4 1/2 months of bed rest) and it was Memorial Day and my mom, a Doula, grabbed some snapshots. Several years later, my younger daughter was born - who happens to be turning 12 today. I was older and in more control of my birth situation . . . yet still spent several weeks on bedrest. With my mother by my side, my husband stuck at work and my older daughter eating Cheetos in the corner, I gave birth to a feisty little girl that even the doctor said I had a few more hours before she made her grand arrival. LIES! LIES! LIES! It was pandemonium . . .And I have the pictures to prove it! We look back every now and then laughing until we cry. |
